Olimpia Milano big man Josh Nebo is the star of ‘Uomini e Canestri’, Luca Chiabotti’s column in Repubblica-Milano. Here are his words.

‘I feel good physically, the arm is healed, the fitness is good. Obviously I still have to get back into the rhythm of the game and find myself in the flow of the game, when I came back I only had two-three five-on-five workouts in my legs, but I count on being ready to make an important contribution when the team really needs me most’.

‘I have to get used to the game again, my teammates to have a player like me in the box. But I think it’s pretty easy because the things I do on the court are simple and I don’t need to have the ball in my hands so much to be effective. And with Mirotic and LeDay, who have played together near the basket for a good part of the season, we are complementary: I don’t do what they do, they don’t do what I do. Plus our relationship, like that with all our teammates, is very good. It’s not a problem to finally play together’.

‘It has been a very difficult year. I arrived in Milan loaded with personal expectations and goals to achieve with my team, I wanted to help conquer the Euroleague playoffs, play the Final Four.Watching my teammates play without being able to contribute was a great disappointment’.
