PAOK’s season ended with the 2-1 series loss to Aek in the quarter-finals of the playoffs in Greece. But Massimo Cancellieri is a hot name on the European market.

It could not be otherwise. The former Olimpia Milano assistant, then in A2 in Ravenna and in France in Limoges and Strasbourg, with the Thessaloniki team also played a FIBA Europe Cup final, ending the season in Greece in sixth position.

His name has been approached today to AEK, a news that was then flatly denied by the Athens club. According to what has been learnt by Sportando, Massimo Cancellieri’s name is also being approached by ALBA Berlin (next season in BCL) and in Italy by Derthona Basket.
