March Madness<\/strong> remains the biggest betting event in the U.S.<\/strong>, with the American Gaming Association (AGA)<\/strong> estimating $3.1 billion<\/strong> in wagers on the NCAA men\u2019s and women\u2019s tournaments<\/strong>. This marks a 15% year-over-year increase<\/strong> and more than double the Super Bowl\u2019s $1.4 billion betting handle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s college basketball continues to grow in betting popularity, with BetMGM reporting a 35% increase<\/strong> in wagers. Following Caitlin Clark\u2019s<\/strong> transition to the WNBA, new stars like JuJu Watkins (USC) and Paige Bueckers (UConn)<\/strong> are driving interest.<\/p>\n
