After the scare of his injury against Fenerbahce, Nikola Mirotic is pushing to return as early as Thursday against Crvena Zvezda<\/strong>. A clear sign of his determination and leadership, giving Olimpia Milano a sigh of relief after initial fears of a serious issue.<\/p>\n

Medical tests have ruled out fractures or muscle injuries in his left hip, which suffered a heavy contusion during the EuroLeague game. Coach Ettore Messina confirmed Mirotic\u2019s rapid improvement: “Fortunately, we ruled out both a muscle injury and a fracture, and he\u2019s improving quickly.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, the focus shifts to whether he will actually be available for the crucial EuroLeague clash. “He wants to play at all costs, but we need to be careful,”<\/strong> Messina added. A final decision will be made on Tuesday when the team resumes training, as the medical staff closely monitors his condition.<\/p>\n

A quick return for Mirotic would be a major boost for Olimpia, still fighting for a playoff spot in EuroLeague. The team has already been dealing with multiple injuries in the frontcourt, including Freddie Gillespie\u2019s recent concussion.<\/p>\n
