Point guard Goran Filipovic has left Valencia Basket after his short-term contract with the club expired.<\/p>\n
The Croatian international playmaker arrived at Valencia Basket on September 26 with a two-month agreement. During that time, he helped the team during a difficult time when the point guard position was severely impacted by the injuries of Chris Jones and Sergio de Larrea, as well as personal reasons for Stefan Jovic’s absence.<\/p>\n
Filipovic was an important asset in raising the level of practice and played in four games, posting 7 points and a 10 rating in his best performance against Umana Reyer Venice. A back injury prevented him from participating in the team’s final matches.<\/p>\n
