The deal includes a player option for a third season, giving Green a chance to increase his earning potential in the future. Jalen Green is the first NBA player to successfully negotiate a 2-plus-1 rookie extension with a nine-figure contract.<\/p>\n<p>For Green, 22, the deal represents another breakthrough moment.
