However, the averages recorded, are still those of an MVP: <strong>33.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 9.8 assists<\/strong>. Not forgetting the extraordinary palyoff run that took his Dallas Mavericks all the way to the NBA Finals, later lost to the too-strong Boston Celtics.
