Jeremy Lamb announced his retirement from basketball with a post on his social channels.<\/p>\n

\u201cBasketball has been good to me throughout my entire life, so this decision didn\u2019t come easy,\u201d Lamb said on his post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know I wouldn\u2019t be where I\u2019m at without the love and support from my family and friends, so I want to take a moment to express my appreciation. I\u2019m thankful for the many ways you\u2019ve been there throughout my career.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI also want to acknowledge my teammates, who have made this experience unforgettable. To my coaches, thank you for your guidance and belief in me. Your impact on my life goes beyond the court. Now it\u2019s time to catch another dream!<\/p>\n

Lamb, the No. 12 pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Thunder, produced career averages of 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 10 seasons.<\/p>\n

Before arriving in the NBA, the 32-year-old guard was among Connecticut’s standouts in the NCAA Tournament win in 2011.<\/p>\n
