Tamar Blatt is close to renewing his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv for another two years, according to reports by Aharle Weisberg and Or Shkedi.<\/p>\n

After weeks of complex negotiations, the deal seems to be moving towards a successful conclusion. Blatt, who had exercised the option to opt out of his contract, thus becoming a free agent, is expected to sign a new contract that will guarantee him around $1.4 million for the next two seasons. At the end of the first year, he will have the option to opt out of the contract with compensation for Maccabi Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n
