I can\u2019t wait to start working along my new teammamtes and help the team achieve its goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>HIS CAREER<\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 After coming to Italy to play in Udine, Diop spent a year on loan at Virtus Feletto and made his debut in the second Italian league for the 2016\/17 season. In 2018 he signed with Dinamo Sassari where he remained until the 2023\/24 season. Over the course of these six years, however, he played on loan for two years in Turin in the second league again. In 2018\/19 he won the Fiba Europe Cup with Sassari (3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds on average). In 2021\/22 he averaged 6.0 points and grabbed 3.6 rebounds per game in the Italian league; in 2022\/23 he had 9.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game (12.6 points and 6.3 rebounds during the playoffs); in 2023\/24 he had 11.5 points (on 60.5 percent shooting from two) and 5.2 rebounds per game (he finished fifth overall in offensive rebounds per game). In the 2023\/24 Fiba \u200b\u200bBCL he averaged 11.3 points per game with 3.8 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>NOTES<\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Ousmane Diop is Senegalese by citizenship but Italian in basketball terms.
