The player, who has one year left on his five-year deal signed in 2020, has been the subject of market speculation since last season.<\/p>\n<p>Without an extension, Ingram will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Pelicans do not intend to extend the veteran&#8217;s contract with a maximum four-year deal worth $208.5 million until the 2028-29 season.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The Brandon Ingram situation is a thorny problem to solve for David Griffin.
