Jordan Loyd recently spoke with Basketnews<\/a>‘ Donatas Urbonas about his desire to continue playing with AS Monaco.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, Monaco is a place I call home. My family loves it. It’s a place I want to be many years. I have no problem saying that publicly. But obviously, things happen. With the injury situation this past year, you always remember it’s a business.<\/p>\n

It’s probably been the toughest year I’ve had physically and mentally. Naturally, I want to show everyone I’m healthy, I can play, and all that stuff is behind me\u201d<\/p>\n

This year, his second with AS Monaco, Loyd has stepped on the court 17 times in Euroleague, producing 10.9 points and 1.7 assists.<\/p>\n

In his first season under Obradovic, the versatile guard was among the key players in the historic Final Four qualification and the victory in the French championship.<\/p>\n

Loyd joined the Principality’s team on a two-year deal in July 2022.<\/p>\n
