Fenerbahce handled its business, improving to 20-12 on the season, while ALBA dropped to a 5-27 record.<\/p>\n<p>Fenerbahce opened the game with a 10-0 run, with all of those points coming from Hayes-Davis. From there, the hosts never looked back. ALBA did cut it to single digits with a 0-12 run late in the second quarter, but Fenerbahce broke the game wide open in the third behind Hayes-Davis and Johnathan Motley.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes-Davis was on 36 points before the end of the third quarter, then the chase for the record started, making a 35-point affair into a real drama as ALBA started to double-team Hayes-Davis. However, Hayes-Davis finally got the record with 18 seconds to go, with the sold-out arena going crazy.<\/p>\n<p>Motley was the only other Fenerbahce player in double figures with 18 points.
