The Phoenix Suns beat the Golden State Warriors 119-116, and here is Draymond Green’s new madness.<\/p>\n

The third quarter of the match was in fact marked by Green’s ejection, the 18th time in his career, the highest figure among active NBA players.<\/p>\n

Green and Nurkic were competing for position when the two tangled. The Warriors’ wing appeared to lose his balance slightly before turning and hitting Nurkic directly in the face.<\/p>\n

Nurkic immediately fell to the ground but eventually got up and stayed in the game. The referees reviewed the play before calling a flagrant 2 a Green, or automatic ejection.<\/p>\n

“It had nothing to do with basketball,” Nurkic said. “I’m just trying to play basketball.”<\/p>\n

It has been less than a month since Green was suspended for five games by the NBA for grabbing Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert by the throat during an altercation.<\/p>\n

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he didn’t see the replay and therefore wouldn’t comment on the ejection, but admitted how losing Green was a big blow.<\/p>\n

“Big turnaround,” Kerr said. “We felt good having him as a five, opening up the field. Obviously, that changed our structure.”<\/p>\n
