Murray experienced a comparable injury during the preseason.<\/p>\n<p>This week, Malone stated, &#8220;This will be something that is longer than we would like.&#8221; &#8220;You have to have the big picture in mind and make sure we&#8217;re putting him in position to get healthy before he comes back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Murray may become eligible for the Supermax if he is selected to the All-NBA team, given he did not sign a contract extension with the Nuggets over the offseason.
