Raul suffered a fall at the beginning of the third quarter and was attended to immediately, still on the court, with a suspected rupture of the patellar tendon. The injury was confirmed in a magnetic resonance examination performed minutes later at the event’s official hospital, under the guidance and monitoring of the Director of Health and physician of the Brazilian National Team, Carlos Vicente Andreoli.<\/p>\n
Raul suffered the rupture in the jump movement. The athlete was immobilized, he is now at the hotel with the delegation and under the care of the medical department.
