Baskonia is in negotiations for the arrival of American point guard Shannon Evans. The 29-year-old, 1.85m-tall player, who has previously been on the Spanish club’s radar, could boost the team’s exterior line-up.<\/p>\n

Shannon Evans joined Real Betis in the summer of 2021 after his stints in Hungarian, French and Turkish basketball, quickly becoming a key figure in the team. After a fantastic 2021-22 season where he averaged 17.4 points and 6.8 assists in the ACB, he decided to renew with Betis, eventually moving to Valencia Basket last January. However, the Connecticut native did not adapt well to the secondary role he had in Valencia in the second half of last season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.3 assists in the EuroLeague, leading Valencia Basket to ultimately terminate his contract despite having paid over 200,000 euros to Betis just a few months prior.<\/p>\n
