He participated in personnel discussions with the front office for the first time this season and pushed for a major upgrade, which led to their trade for Kyrie Irving. MacMahon wrote that Doncic &#8220;appeared relieved&#8221; after their loss to the Chicago Bulls, which officially eliminated them from play-in contention.
