According to Durant, &#8220;I don&#8217;t care about legacy&#8230; It just becomes too much of a focus on other people. What&#8217;s he done, what&#8217;s he done? Comparisons.&#8221; He added that he used to want to carve out a space in the game for himself that people would remember, but he doesn&#8217;t feel that way anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Durant also mentioned that after he left the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the Golden State Warriors, he realized that many people would not view his career logically. He said, &#8220;When it comes to me, people are not going to think in a logical way or simply look at what I&#8217;ve done and say that&#8217;s it.
