Warriors big man James Wiseman is close to returning to action.
\nThe player, who is out since more than a year with a torn meniscus, is expected to play in the upcoming Summer League.<\/p>\n

The Athletic<\/strong><\/a>, Wiseman underwent an orthobiologic injection during a multiday trip to London with Warriors general manager Bob Myers in April, multiple sources told The Athletic<\/em>, as both sides worked to find a way to promote healing in the knee. The plasma-rich injection in Wiseman\u2019s arm was a therapeutic treatment used to increase healing throughout the body.<\/p>\n

Wiseman has gradually progressed in the couple months since. In recent weeks, he has increased his court activity and is now sprinting for pain-free stretches. Wiseman is nearing clearance for full-contact workouts, and he and the Warriors are now optimistic he could return to action during NBA Summer League in July, sources told The Athletic<\/em>. It\u2019s been both sides\u2019 goal for Wiseman to play in Summer League.
