Monaco in the French Serie A league and Euroleague this season, is hoping that he and Brooklyn can come to an agreement that put him back in the black-and-white for 2022-23. The Nets hold his NBA rights, permitting them to sign him to a vets minimum deal \u2014 or something larger outside the salary cap&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>James <a href=\"https:\/\/sportando.basketball\/en\/monaco-forces-a-first-ever-game-5-against-olympiacos-in-front-of-kevin-durant\/\">is close friends with Kevin Durant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The point guard was included on the 2021-22 All-EuroLeague First Team in his first season in France.<\/p>\n<p>James was the third-best scorer in Euroleague with 16.4 points per game, and the third-best assistman with 5.8.
