This is the third-year option for both players.<\/p>\n<p>Edwards was selected first overall at the 2020 NBA Draft. The Georgia product played in all 72 games (55 starts) as a rookie. He averaged 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals.<\/p>\n<p>McDaniels was drafted with the 28th pick of the first round at the 2020 NBA Draft. His rights were acquired by Minnesota in a three-team deal that involved the Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks.
