{"id":234134,"date":"2021-08-27T22:33:28","date_gmt":"2021-08-27T20:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportando.basketball\/?p=234134"},"modified":"2021-08-27T22:33:58","modified_gmt":"2021-08-27T20:33:58","slug":"jaxson-hayes-says-several-times-i-cant-breathe-during-arrest-got-tased-twice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportando.basketball\/en\/jaxson-hayes-says-several-times-i-cant-breathe-during-arrest-got-tased-twice\/","title":{"rendered":"Jaxson Hayes shoves an officer, says several times &#8220;I can&#8217;t breathe&#8221; during arrest, got tased twice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/08\/27\/lapd-release-jaxson-hayes-body-cam-police-officer-shoved-into-wall-nba-pelicans\/\">TMZ Sports<\/a> released the video of Jaxson Hayes&#8217; arrest in Los Angeles outside his girlfriend house.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/share.tmz.com\/videos\/2021-08-27-082721-jaxson-hayes-1236367\/\" width=\"560\" height=\"395\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/08\/27\/lapd-release-jaxson-hayes-body-cam-police-officer-shoved-into-wall-nba-pelicans\/\">Per TMZ Sports<\/a>, the video starts with cops approaching 6&#8217;11, 220-pound Hayes outside his GF&#8217;s L.A. house &#8212; after a woman called 911, claiming she received &#8220;disturbing&#8221; texts from her cousin who claimed Hayes was &#8220;getting loud and violent,&#8221; adding she was &#8220;scared and couldn&#8217;t call the police herself.&#8221;<br \/>\nOnce on the scene, cops told 21-year-old Hayes they had to enter the home to make sure everyone was safe &#8230; but Hayes objected.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes eventually attempted to retreat inside &#8230; but officers blocked his path. Police attempted to cuff Hayes &#8230; and that&#8217;s when the situation turned violent.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes appears to forcefully shove an officer &#8230; sending him slamming into an exterior wall of the home. Police later said the officer was injured during the incident &#8230; and required medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Officers then wrestled Hayes &#8212; who was struggling with the cops &#8212; to the ground. He is heard on video saying &#8220;I can&#8217;t breathe.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Moments later, after repeatedly ordering Hayes to comply, an officer tases him.
