{"id":224498,"date":"2021-07-08T10:40:37","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T08:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportando.basketball\/?p=224498"},"modified":"2021-07-08T10:40:37","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T08:40:37","slug":"eca-executive-board-holds-second-preseason-meeting-in-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportando.basketball\/en\/eca-executive-board-holds-second-preseason-meeting-in-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"ECA Executive Board holds second preseason meeting in Barcelona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022 Board members sign off guiding principles of first-ever collective agreement with the EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2022 Final Four hosting rights awarded to Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin<\/p>\n<p>The Euroleague Commercial Assets Shareholders Executive Board members met on Wednesday, July 7, in Barcelona, with team representatives welcoming LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne and FC Bayern Munich to the table after they were confirmed as licensed teams.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting concluded with the following decisions:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Financial report: reviewed and approved 2020-21 closing figures and 2021-22 projections.<br \/>\n&#8211; Clubs\u2019 economic distribution: approved main principles for the 2021-22 distribution criteria, giving market pool distribution a higher weight over the total with the objective of reducing revenue uncertainty for EuroLeague clubs.<br \/>\n&#8211; Players\u2019 European Framework Agreement: approved the terms of a landmark first-ever three-year collective agreement with the EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA) that will establish league-wide standards in the working relationship between players and Turkish Airlines EuroLeague clubs.
