Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash and All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving had good words about Mike James after his debut with the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought he did great. It\u2019s not an easy position to come in and meet your teammates for the first time and play in an NBA game on national TV,\u201d Nash said. \u201dHe\u2019s been in the league before and has had a terrific season in Europe, so we know he\u2019s a talented player. I was really impressed by his pace, his ability to draw and kick, make the offense run faster and create openings for his teammates.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou saw my reactions on the sidelines. I was really impressed. We just want him to fill in as best as he can and feel comfortable,\u201d Irving said. \u201cWelcome him with open arms.
