The tenth edition of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour will begin in Doha, Qatar on March 26-27, 202<\/span>1<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The number one competition of the FIBA 3×3 professional circuit will be back just three months after Team Riga (LAT) won their first title.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This will mark the second year in a row the World Tour\u00a0<\/span>makes a stop<\/span>\u00a0in Doha, in<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Al Gharafa Sports Complex<\/span>, a state-of-the-art outdoors venue.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will be hosted by\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Qatar Basketball Federation<\/span>, with the support of the Qatar Olympic Committee.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All the health and safety measures requested by local and national authorities and the\u202f<\/span>Guidelines for the Return to Basketball<\/span><\/a>, developed by the FIBA Medical Advisory Group (MAG), which were successfully introduced\u00a0<\/span>in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2020<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>will be<\/span>\u00a0implemented once again.<\/span>\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>decision to have fans at the venue will be\u00a0<\/span>taken<\/span>\u00a0closer to the event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fourteen teams are expected to compete in the World Tour opener, including the top 8 teams in the FIBA 3×3 Team Ranking (at the end of the team validation period, meaning February 15)<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>the host<\/span>s.<\/span><\/p>\n
