The club was willing to let me practice less and play fewer games. But I didn\u2019t like that. That\u2019s not fair, not to the club and not to myself. When I play basketball, I want to go for it, not just worry about my knees\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bd.nl\/regiosport\/henk-norel-zet-punt-achter-basketballoopbaan-ik-wil-niet-nog-een-knieoperatie~a0caa7c1\/?referrer=https:\/\/t.co\/ks3pg1feJL?amp=1&amp;referrer=https:\/\/t.co\/OZGVso2yeL\">Norel told BD<\/a>. \u201cBasketball has always been my life and it suddenly comes to an end. I will really continue to come to Heroes in De Maaspoort to watch games and soon play again at a lower level. I love this game too much for that.
