He is set to leave Kaunas after drawing a lot of interest with a terrific showcase in last year’s EuroLeague campaign. The American has decided to use the buy-out clause in his contract to leave Zalgiris.

The 26-year-old joined Zalgiris from Olympiacos Piraeus last summer, and quickly became one of the team’s go-to weapons.

LeDay averaged 11.8 ponts, 4.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists and an efficiency rating of 13.2 in 22 minutes of action on the floor in the EuroLeague.

He played six minutes less on the national front, but still managed to average 11.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 14.6 efficiency per game.

Zalgiris has already said their goodbyes to Edgaras Ulanovas and the coaching staff: Sarunas Jasikevicius, Darius Maskoliunas, Tomas Masiulis and Justinas Grainys.
