After the EuroLeague announced the indefinite stoppage of league action on Thursday, and the Betsafe-LKL followed up with the decision to outright end the season<\/a>, Zalgiris decided to allow the players and coaches to leave the team indefinitely.<\/p>\n

This decision will be valid until the 2019-2020 EuroLeague championship is continued. Whenever EuroLeague informs of further decisions, Zalgiris players and coaches will be informed, and will be required to return to the team within several days.<\/p>\n

On Friday EuroLeague president Jordi Beromeu sent out a letter, stating that the tournament will be reinstated no earlier than the 11th of April.<\/p>\n
