Wizards’ Scott Brooks on Bradley Beal’s injury: “Hopefully it’s not too serious”
The Wizards are currently the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference, a half-game ahead of the Pacers.
Bradley Beal strained his hamstring during the Washington Wizards 133-132 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. Wizards coach Scott Brooks, who held Beal out of the entire overtime period, said that the team may not know the severity of the injury for a couple of days.
“He tweaked his hamstring. Actually, he tweaked his ankle, and we didn’t want to push it at the end. He wanted to, but our guys told him not to push it. Hopefully, it’s not too serious,” said Brooks.
