The Washington Wizards haven’t started their general manager search yet, but candidates are emerging.
After firing Tommy Sheppard, Wizards governor Ted Leonsis announced the club is exploring outside for a new GM. Washington is expected to inquire about Masai Ujiri and Tim Connelly.
New Orleans Pelicans general manager Trajan Langdon is another possibility. Top basketball executives include Ujiri. He’s previously declined to leave Toronto.
