Washington Wizards, Vukcevic: “In Partizan Belgrade two very bad years”

Tristan Vukcevic spoke about the differences between NBA and EuroLeague basketball, also returning to his choice to leave Partizan Belgrade.

Tristan Vukcevic left Partizan Belgrade this season and flew overseas, where the Washington Wizards were waiting for him. The longtime Serbian gave an interview to Mundo Deportivo in which he explained his reasons for leaving the club coached by Zeljko Obradovic.

On the differences between the EuroLeague and the NBA: “I like NBA basketball a lot more. It is faster and you are free to do the things you are good at. There are less plays, you play more with the talent of the players”.

On his experience with Partizan Belgrade: “I wanted to leave Partizan. It was my decision because I didn’t like Partizan, I didn’t play much and when I did play, I didn’t feel comfortable on the court. I had two very bad years, but I don’t want to go into details, although some things happened.

With the Washington Wizards, Vukcevic is getting a lot of playing time: in his last 4 games, he averaged more than 20 minutes and averaged 14.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
