Warriors’ Klay Thompson undergoes successful ACL surgery, expected to miss 5-7 months

Klay Thompson's surgery a success, agent says

Golden State Warriors big man Klay Thompson underwent successful knee surgery.

Per ESPN, Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed the procedure at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute.
Thompson is expected to make a full recovery and follow a standard recovery time of five to seven months, though Lawrence emphasized Tuesday that said window is tilted toward the back end of that timetable.
“While we are optimistic on a return as quickly as possible, Klay and the team are committed to taking the necessary time with the process,” Lawrence told ESPN.
