Warriors haven’t considered keeping Stephen Curry out for rest of the season
Former MVP is due to return early March for Golden State.
Stephen Curry is still expected to return this season despite the Golden State Warriors being well out of playoff contention. The Warriors haven’t considered shutting Curry down to ensure he enters the offseason healthy, or to maximize their lottery odds. Former MVP is due to return early March.
"Steph is coming back. That’s not even a discussion internally," Warriors owner Joe Lacob said, as reported by USA Today. "He’s ready to play so he should play. By the way, we’ll try to win every game. I’m not really about, ‘Let’s lose every game so we can get the best pick.’ You try to do that, you’re messing with the basketball gods. So we don’t believe in that."
