The Social Court No. 1 of Vitoria-Gasteiz has upheld the claim for damages brought by Saski Baskonia, S.A.D. against Argentinean point guard Luca Vildoza.
This ruling condemns the current Panathinaikos point guard to pay the club EUR 1 million as compensation resulting from the unilateral termination of the contract that brought the player first to the NBA, then back to Europe.
The Basque club points out that the compensation agreed in the contract with Vildoza actually amounted to EUR 2 million.
Baskonia therefore announces a new appeal to the Court of Justice of the Basque Country for the missing one million, also requesting the provisional execution of the ruling at the competent bodies.
