Virtus Bologna informed that Milos Teodosic, that has not been named to Serbia’s National Team for FIBA Basketball World Cup, will be back in Italy in the upcoming days to continue his rehabilitation after the foot injury.
“We have had a constant collaboration and communication with colleagues from the Serbian Federation. I would like to thank President Danilovic, Coach Djordjevic and Prof. Radovanovic for their sensitivity and availability. We know well what Milos represents in Serbia and for the national team, we are very sorry that it is not playing in China, but it is our right to put the player’s health and recovery first and that’s what we will do too. We have in front of our eyes numerous cases of top players injured, we need great attention and great care in front of an increasingly pressing calendar. There are too many injuries and the big players must be protected because they are the protagonists of the show” Luca Baraldi, managing director of Virtus Bologna said.
