Pallacanestro Varese GM Andrea Conti said that Toney Douglas is a problem for the team.
The former NBA guard is not performing as expected and Varese lost the last five games in a row.
"Toney Douglas is undeniably a problem, his % are obvious to everyone; Scola is too lonely, the others have done their part, but the team struggled and I struggle to blame the group. We defended, we fought and we showed vitality in loss to Pesaro" Conti told La Prealpina.
Douglas is averaging 11 points and 4 assists per game in 7 contests.
In the last four games he had 2, 10, 4 and 9 points.
Against Pesaro he went 2 for 4 from two and 1 from 9 from long range.
