Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured right fibula and dislocated ankle suffered during a 110-102 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Hendricks, who went down without contact midway through the third quarter, was stretchered off the court with his foot in a protective boot and using crutches. Coach Will Hardy shared his disappointment, stating, “It’s hard to stomach. Taylor has put in a lot of hard work. He’s a great kid, and we’re focusing on his health and recovery.”

The 20-year-old, selected ninth in the 2023 Draft, is a key piece in the Jazz’s rebuilding efforts, known for his defensive prowess. As a rookie, Hendricks averaged 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds. Hardy added, "This is just a pause button for Taylor. He’s shown progress, and that’s a credit to him." Further updates on his status will be provided "when appropriate."
