Two teams wanted to keep playing games following Rudy Gobert’s COVID-19 test
Decision to stop the season wasn’t unanimous.
After Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19, the NBA arranged an emergency call of team presidents, a call that was brief as the league decided to cancel the season.
According to a source with knowledge of the conference that spoke with The Athletic, there were only two teams that said they wanted to keep playing despite Gobert’s positive test.
