Rookie guard Martin Hermannsson used his finest performance yet to lead ALBA Berlin to an 81-83 comeback road win at Zenit St Petersburg and to earn the MVP of the Round honor in the process. Hermannsson finished with a career-high performance index rating of 27 PIR, the highest among winning players in Round 25. The ALBA guard scored his EuroLeague-best 24 points, including 8 in the game’s final three and a half minutes. He made 7 of 11 two-point shots, 2 of 3 threes and 4 of 5 free throws. Hermannsson also dished 7 assists and had a personal-best 4 rebounds while becoming the first MVP of the Round ever from Iceland.
