Trento guard Aaron Craft thinks that next year’s contracts will be “abysmal”

Craft has spoken to The Ringer sharing his Quarantine experience.

Interviewed by The Ringer, Aquila Trento guard Aaron Craft has shared his thoughts and experiences about the current situation due to the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on basketball.

"We were obligated contractually at the time," Craft said, referring to his decision to initially stay in Italy. "If we left and couldn’t come back, we forfeit the rest of our contract and salary. So we just didn’t think it was worth the chance". Craft and his family left Italy on March 28.

Trento’s guard has also added his thoughts about what may come up next for basketball: "Contracts next year for players are going to be abysmal, unless you had a guarantee that you had signed from this previous year. I do not envy those players that are having to make these decisions moving forward".
