Thybulle says he’s not fully vaccinated, he will be unable to play in games in Toronto
“I felt like I had a solid foundation of medical resources that could serve me beyond what this vaccine could do for me,” said Thybulle
Matisse Thybulle said that he is not fully vaccinate against covid and will not be able to play in Canada against the Raptors in the NBA playoffs.
Per ESPN, Matisse Thybulle confirmed he will be unable to play in games at the Toronto Raptors in their first round series because he is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Thybulle received one dose of the Pfizer vaccine last year, but elected not to receive the second one.
“I felt like I had a solid foundation of medical resources that could serve me beyond what this vaccine could do for me,” said Thybulle.
“It was not the outcome that I wanted,” he said. “It’s always hard to not be available.”
Thybulle said he accepted that his decision could hurt the 76ers as well as his reputation and future earnings.
“I made this choice and thought I could keep it to myself, I could keep it quiet,” Thybulle said.
