Olympiacos won the Greek Super Cup against Ergin Ataman’s Panathinaikos: Sasha Vezenkov was the deciding factor.
The Greek Supercup was won by Olympiacos at the end of a battle, the first of the 2024-2025 season, against historic rivals Panathinaikos. The game ended 86-85 in favour of the red and white, giving Olympiacos their first trophy of the season. Sasha Vezenkov’s triple with 35 seconds left gave his team a 9-point lead, but Panathinaikos responded until Kendrick Nunn’s -1 triple with 4 seconds left.
Olympiacos finished with 20 points from Vezenkov, 19 from Dorsey and 18 with 8 rebounds from Petrusev. 7 points and 4 rebounds for Evan Fournier.
Panathinaikos were not satisfied with 19 points from Grigonis, 18 from Sloukas and 15 from Kendrick Nunn.
