Per Projectspurs, Wednesday in his press conference with the media, San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich announced Trey Lyles will miss the entire Orlando restart, citing appendicitis.
"We lost Trey to appendicitis today," said Popovich.
Afterward, the Spurs officially announced Lyles is out for the rest of the 2019-2020 season, saying he underwent an appendectomy earlier in Orlando, Florida.
