Coach Neven Spahija spoke about the potential of Mfiondu Kabengele, the center selected at the end of the first round in the 2019 NBA Draft, who is enjoying a good first part of the season with Reyer Venezia.

You said of Mfiondu Kabengele that he is one of the strongest centers you have worked with: is he a Euroleague player?
"I confirm, he is one of the best centers I have coached and has a lot of room for improvement. For me, with his talent, he is a player who can return to the NBA."
The 27-year-old Canadian center is producing averages of 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in Eurocup, and 12.7 points with as many as 14 rebounds in LBA.
The former Florida State is the top rebounder in both competitions.
