Shamorie Ponds no longer expected to join Virtus Roma

Shamorie Ponds will not join Virtus Roma.
As first reported by Superbasket and confirmed to Sportando, Ponds asked for more money and Virtus Roma gave up on signing him for the remainder of the season.
Ponds was the player chosen by Virtus Roma to help tue backcourt and avoid relegations in Serie A2.
Virtus Roma will now hit the market for a new guard.
