Shai Gilgeous-Alexander puts up monster 20/20/10 Triple-Double

Former Clippers guard propels Thunder win with an historic performance.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (20 PTS, 20 REB, 10 AST) recorded the first triple-double of his career as he powered the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 117-104 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He’s the youngest player in NBA history to notch a 20-rebound triple-double, passing Shaquille O’Neal, and the 5th guard in history to record at least 20 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists in a single game. The other guards to do so are Oscar Robertson (8x), Fat Lever (2x), Guy Rodgers, and Russell Westbrook.

Los Angeles Clippers, Tyronn Lue: “Our season is on the line, but we can win in Dallas”

The Los Angeles Clippers came out defeated in Game 5 against the Dallas Mavericks, but coach Tyronn Lue does not despair and is already focused on Game 6. These are the words of the coach of the Los Angeles team at the end of the fifth act of the Playoffs series.

Tyronn Lue on the difficulties in Game 5: “We didn’t play well on offense or defense. We just have to turn the page and do it fast, in the end whoever gets to 4 wins first in a playoff series always wins. And we know we can win again in Dallas. In 2021 we were down 3-2 and then we won the series, we know we didn’t play our best game tonight but in game 6 we will be better. Our season is in the balance and we know that.”

On James Harden’s bad game: “Even he is allowed to have a bad game, he is human. By the way, nobody shot well today, they pressed us more and we did not respond well. It’s true, Harden didn’t play well, but I’m the one who will have to do a better job of putting him in better condition to play his best in Game 6 and I know he will have a great game.”
