Serie A teams reportedly may lose up to €40 million if season doesn’t resume

LBA has a conference call scheduled for Wednesday

Serie A teams may lose up to €40 minion if the season doesn’t resume due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, La Stampa reports.

Without help from the government, tax breaks, ticketing and having to respect all the commitments and deadlines sets (including the reimbursement to season ticket holders) the Italian top division risks to collapse.

According to La Stampa, Legabasket has already started the discussions with players’ representative to cut the salaries during the suspension.
