Sergio Scariolo reportedly asked to join Milwaukee Bucks as first assistant coach
Former Virtus Bologna head coach could replace Terry Stotts as Adrian Griffin’s main assistant coach, returning to the NBA
Former Virtus Bologna coach and current Spain NT coach Sergio Scariolo has received a proposal from the Milwaukee Bucks to return to the NBA and serve as Adrian Griffin’s first assistant coach, as reported by Superbasket.
Scariolo, who has worked with Griffin in his Toronto Raptors stint, would replace Terry Stotts who resigned from his job weeks ago. Since parting ways with Virtus Bologna, he has turned down ASVEL Villeurbanne proposal to replace TJ Parker.
