Mike Brown of the Sacramento Kings has been voted Coach of the Year by the National Basketball Coaches Association.
The vote was cast by the league’s 30 head coaches, and the award is named in honor of former NBCA executive director Michael H. Goldberg.
Brown’s victory ends a two-year run for Phoenix’s Monty Williams.
